Jemyan has a good presence in Iraq & the Kurdistan Region and technical experts who have detailed knowledge of the area’s political, cultural, security and religious challenges will enable us to provide timely, high quality and cost-effective Provision of Environmental Services. Having an extensive working experience with Iraqi and the Kurdistan Regional Government, we have completed several of projects in the region where we have provided a strong local perspective of regulations and cultural traditions that will be addressed during development activities. Jemyan specializes in the construction of residential and commercial projects in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. We’re extremely focused on the delivery of our construction projects. We’re very flexible in dealing with client requirements. 

Jemyan has separate divisions specializing in Constructions and Commercial projects.  As a result, we have an extremely diverse range of skills that are transferrable between the divisions.  We have the commercial experience necessary to address any technically challenging aspects of a project, combined with the attention to detail and high level of finishing required on residential projects.

Himreen and Jemyan were found in 2004 and  2007, they are privately-owned company that is a strong, stable and reliable force in the construction industry, founded by Mr. Eng. Ilham Taha Tayeb. Jemyan’s founder is in the field of businesses since 1986.

We are active in the field of construction, we have implemented various projects accordingly, such as ( Dams, Sewage Channels, Residential projects, Governmental Facilities, Refugee Camps, Bridges, Roads, and Sidewalks) in the different cities of the Republic of Iraq including the region of Kurdistan.

 We are also active in the field of trading especially in the importing sector primarily catering to Fabrics (Textiles) and Clothes, Drinks, Food, and Cars, which are imported from several countries such as China, Thailand, India, Syria, and UAE.

Quality Management Structure

Jemyan’s control management plan records the information required to manage the quality of the project procedures from its starting point to the delivery point. This plan shows the quality policies, procedures, criteria, and roles and responsibilities. It is intended to be viable for implementation by all the staff that runs the project, starting from the project manager to the very last person in the line. This quality plan incessant throughout the contract period and it will be frequently and regularly reviewed and updated and prone to change on managements approve.

Jemyan has an experienced management team and direct employ of qualified tradespeople ensuring your building project is delivered to the highest standard.  We are flexible in our project management approach which we tailor to suit our client specific requirements.  We have a very flat hierarchy with the General Manager and Company Directors being accessible to the construction team and their clients.

Every Jemyan’s project is allocated a dedicated delivery team including a Construction Manager, Site Manager, and Quantity Surveyor.  The nominated delivery team is supported by our General Manager and Business Development Manager.

We nominate the appropriate team for each project based on complexity, and understanding the interpersonal relationships that need to be maintained for an effective outcome.  With  Construction Managers,  Quantity Surveyors and Site Managers on staff, we have a solid workforce to draw from.

Our Resources

Jemyan has a construction workforce of trade qualified carpenters, supported by an experienced construction management and administration team.  The skill set of our Commercial and Residential construction teams is such that they can be transferred within the company to meet the changing demands of our project workload. Jemyan team are provided with modern, up to date tools and equipment for improved productivity and quality workmanship.  Our loyal network of subcontractors and suppliers is able to respond quickly to meet construction deadlines.

The majority of our work is carried out in the Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.  Over the many years of our existence in this field , Jemyan has successfully completed numerous projects valued between $300,000 and $12M.  Our client base is wide and varied across our Commercial, Residential divisions.
